Qahwa...coffee

Coffee...the lifeblood of the Middle East.
Its aroma fills the air, its bitter taste tantalises the tastebuds.
It transcends religion and politics; everyone drinks it all day long.
The way it is brewed is almost zen like:
watching the pot, the bubbles rising and falling, rising and falling, until they fade away leaving a clear, smooth surface of deep, mahogany liquid.
Art in a pot.
